Lunascape sound mixes catchy rhythms, ethereal samples and loops and rock Guitar, blended carefully with smooth melodies and Kyoko's enchanting voice.
At the core of Lunascape are musicians Kyoko Baertsoen and Walter Hilhorst.

The duo originally met in 1993 at the Television and Film Academy in Brussels, Belgium and began to fiddle around with covers and some original material. In 1997, Kyoko was offered the spot of lead singer for Hooverphonic and her work with Walter was put on the back burner. After touring Europe extensively with Hooverphonic, Kyoko left the band and returned to her work with Walter; Lunascape was born.

Lunascape landed a record deal in 1998 and singles began to trickle out over the next few years. But it wasn't until 2002 that Lunascape's debut album Reflecting Seyelence was released, showcasing the group's ethereal blend of trip-hop, moody pop, and electronic textures framed by Baertsoen's lush vocals.

HighWired are a five-piece hailing from Limerick, taking their own stance on steadfast rock with inventive melodies and frontwoman Stacy’s attractive vocals. The band’s fan base and media interest has been growing steadily around the country in the last year and 2007 saw HighWired win the Limerick heat of "The Jack Daniels Hardest Working Band" competition [The JD Set] after only a few months together.

They recorded their Debut EP "Seem Familar?" in 2007 with production guru, Owen Lewis, who is now working in the world famous Grouse Lodge Studios in Co. Westmeath with the likes of Snow Patrol, REM, and Flogging Molly to mention a few. They released their debut record in November ’07 after much anticipation and a long hard year of production, and promotion. "All This Time", the single taken from the EP, was released in February ’08 and went straight in at No. 10 in the download chart, moving to No. 5 in its second week. Also in February ’08 the band were chosen as one of the final twelve acts in the country to take part in the "National Student Music Awards 2008"

Kalliopi is a pop-rock singer/songwriter from Greece. She recently completed a single called Around the World, including the original track Fire and Sea and a rock n roll version of T.Springfield/C.Westlake song Summer is over, originally sung by Dusty Springfield. Kalliopi has performed in various venues like Betsew Trotwood, Rock Garden, Infinity Club, George and Dragon and the Hope & Anchor. Kalliopi has been writing just great songs and melodies you carry with you. Vocals flow from high ranging, crystal clear, angelic to aggressive, punky and quirky. Shes got a great ear for languages and was natural to find herself writing English and also French lyrics. "You may not have heard of her yet, but with a multi-talented, multi-lingual repertoire, chances are she will burst on to the world stage soon" European Weekly In Greece she collaborated with well-known producer Coti K. in a remake of some of Lena Platonos songs that was released by FM Records. The album was produced by Konstantin B. She put in distinctive airy/breathy vocals, improvising melodies in the song called Roumanian Emigrants, it was a project that went also live at Rodon Club one of the biggest rock venues in Athens. Working as a singer she has basically worked everywhere from piano restaurants and hotels singing jazz, latin and greek music to groovy clubs and live venues singing pop hits, disco, dance - she was lucky to meet some of the best professional musicians around and formed a band called minima. That led to an album of 11 songs released by Lyra/MBI Records. All these guys now were also playing with pop-rock artist Christos Dantis, who had just released a new album and was planning on a tour for its promotion, so it wasnt long until he asked Kalliopi to join him as a supporting act for his concerts and later with her band minima. She appeared with him in hundreds of concerts at festivals, small venues and clubs all around Greece, in Cyprus and Germany.

My Someday is the debut LP from Blondfire, the brother/sister duo of Bruce and Erica Driscoll. Almost entirely self-produced and mixed, it's a song after song showcase of hooky, elegant, left-of-center, pop songs.

Erica's voice is airy, haunting, heartbreaking, and creates a wonderful sense of continuity over the span of the album. Over the course of the 12 songs Blondfire succeed at taking the listener on a journey through several different genres, with each track sounding remarkably original and unmistakably their own.

Beneath their catchy melodies and quirky production there is an undeniable charming element to their sound. Some songs seem like period pieces or forgotten hits from a different era, while still seeming modern, fresh, and current.

It's evident from listening to My Someday that the Driscolls love music and have fun doing what they do. Each song was recorded in a different location, some as bizarre as a London hotel room. The album shows what bands can be capable of once they throw out the rule book and just make the music in their hearts. This is a must listen release.

When Shannon Curtis was 5, she danced and sang along to her dad playing 40’s-era standards on her family’s baby grand.

When she was 7, her classical piano teacher told her she played like a boy.

When she was 9, she sang into her hairbrush pretending to be Amy Grant.

Just out of college, she shirked her pre-med Biology degree and made an earnest effort as the lead singer in a guitar-based rock band.

Two years ago she found her piano again, started writing love songs, and quit the band. Since then she says it’s been like walking around in an old, comfortable pair of shoes – playing the piano and singing songs about love.

The Los Angeles Times describes Shannon as "... a beautiful piano player who sounds like the love child of Fiona Apple and Norah Jones."

Shannon’s debut EP, Boomerangs & Seesaws, was released in July 2007 on the tiny Saint Cloud Records label, and the follow up, Paris Can’t Have You, was released in March 2008. Constant touring has been building Shannon a devoted following across the country.
